Pearl Rollison Smith was born in DeWitt, Arkansas on May 27, 1892. As a young woman she taught school in Arkansas County Arkansas. Pearl married Alva Smith and moved to Corona, California in 1918 where they were members of Church of Christ and where she taught Sunday School for many years. In 1950 she and her son, R. T. opened a florist business in Corona - Smith Florist which she helped operate until her death on December 10, 1976.
