My grand-mother. Father: James H Floyd, Mother: Annie S Floyd. According to the 1910 census: four sisters, Mary E, Aline, Florence, Sallie; five brioches, james H., Fred D., Charles L, Thomas and John H. An era has come to a close, yet life continues both here in this life and extends unto eternity. She sealed the first generation's chapter of the book for the descendents of James and Annie Floyd. She was a life-long resident of Chester after coming from her place of birth, Snowhill, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Harvey J. Taylor, Sr., who was called home January 3, 1966. She was the sister of the late Howard Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Floyd. She served faithfully at First Pentecostal Holy Church in Chester, Pa. for 65 years. Mother of Harvey, Harold, Earnest, Milton, Magdalene, Mary, Virgina, Clifton and Mildred. Family members often joked about Aline still having the first nickel she ever earned, Aline was tight with the money.
Cause of death: Heart Failure
