Services for Laurendeau Foundation for Cancer Care volunteer Georgia E. "Sally" Joneli, 76, will be at 1 pm Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ken Daugs officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10 am to noon Saturday and 1 to 3 pm Sunday. Mrs. Joneli, of 1675 E. Hemmi Rd, Everson, died Thursday. She was born Oct 28, 1913 in Bellingham.

An active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mrs. Joneli is remembered by her family as having a beautiful smile, a wonderful sense of humor, and a hearty laugh. One of her aunts described her by saying "she spread sunshine wherever she went."

In addition to her church activities, Mrs. Joneli also volunteered for her favorite charity, the Laurendeau Foundation for Cancer Care.

Survivors include her daughter Pauline Matheson of Everson; her son Herman Joneli of Everson; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brothers Howard Davie of Missouri, and Robert Davie of San Bernadino; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
