Section: Obituaries

Sally Pauline (Joneli) Matheson went to be with her Lord Jesus on Jan. 4th, 2015.

Pauline was born on April 27, 1935 and raised on her Joneli family dairy farm on the Hemmi Rd. She attended Meridian School District where she met her husband John "Pete" Matheson. Together they maintained lifelong friendships with their school mates.

Pauline and Pete raised their four children in Everson. Their home in the Blanker's addition neighborhood became another group of lifetime friendships.

Pauline worked at St. Luke's Hospital in data processing after her children were in school. She loved all her Joneli and Matheson family times and adventures throughout her life.

Pauline particularly loved her Lord Jesus and her St. John's Lutheran Church family. Pauline was baptized, confirmed, married and worshiped at St. John's her entire life.

Pauline now joins her husband, Pete Matheson; mother and father, Sally and Herman Joneli; brother, Herm Joneli (Evelyn); and oldest son, Jay Matheson.

Please join us for a celebration of life for Pauline on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church.
