Mary Sue Metcalf Crist, 69, of Amarillo died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with the Rev. Roy S. Wheeler of Paramount Terrace Christian Church officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Crist was born in Amarillo, had lived her life here and was a graduate of Amarillo High School.
She worked as an admitting clerk for Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital, retiring in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Lela Metcalf.
Survivors include a sister, June Kidd of Las Vegas; four sons, Don Crist and Roger Crist and wife Victoria, all of Amarillo, Gary Crist and wife Marie of Portage, Ind., and Tommy Crist and wife Rhonda of Iowa Park; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to the High Plains Epilepsy Association, 3505 Olsen Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79109.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
