Jesse was the son of Albinus Lilly and Martha Nettleton Lilly.

Jesse Jerome Lilly, 57, died Thursday in the Valley Baptist Hospital. Lilly, an engineer at the Harlingen Water Filtration Plant had lived in the Valley for 36 years, having moved with his parents from Minnesota. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Mae Lilly of Harlingen; two sons, Wallace Jesse Lilly of Corpus Christi and Kenneth Lawrence Lilly of El Paso; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Davidson of Odessa, Mrs. Gail Hill and Miss Anne Lilly, both of Corpus Christi; mother, Mrs. Martha Lilly of Santa Rosa; sister, Mrs. Marie Hughes of Santa Rosa; four brothers, Lawrence Lilly of Gonzales, Texas, Albinus Harper Lilly of Los Angeles, California, John Linton Lilly of Bristol, Wisconsin, and Luther Kenneth Lilly of Paris, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted by Church of Christ minister, Earl Dale, at 3 p.m. in the Kreidler-Ashcraft Chapel. Pallbearers will be Flavel Wilson, Don Haskell, Sam Brooks, Charles Smith, Bill Roberts and Leo Gonzales.

Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Runnion, Jerald McMahon, Manuel Gonzalez, Harold Clifton, Emil Kristof, Alpha Ellis, Joe G. Garza, and Jake Long.
