Vera Allen Kuykendall of Grove Manor Nursing Home died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at the nursing home.
Graveside services were held at Forest Hill Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, with the Rev. Stan McKown and the Rev. Rodney Stanford officiating. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kuykendall was born in Petty on Sep. 28, 1902, a daughter of Luther Allen and Cora Blake Sublett.
She married Elba Isles Kuykendall on Jan. 4, 1921, in Paris. He died July 1, 1985. She was a Methodist.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Milred [sic]) Ellis of Waco; one sister, Marie Siebenthall of Honey Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
