C. F. "FRANK" BRASSFIELD
Funeral services were held May 1 at Clagg Funeral Chapel for C. F. "Frank" Brassfield, 88, former Davis resident, who died April 29 at the Sulphur Veteran Center. Rev. Eddie Malphrus officiated. Interment was in Palmer Cemetery with arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 27, 1894 at Stevenville, Ark., he had lived in the Sulphur-Davis area for over 50 years, moving to Sulphur about 12 years ago. He married Hattie Mae Durham on Aug. 20, 1919 in Murray County. She preceded him in death June 11, 1980. He was a retired rancher, a veteran of World War II and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. LaWanda Jones of Sulphur and one grandson, Fob Jones of Sulphur.
Pallbearers were Mac McCain, Ben Jones, Davis Laster, Gordon Pullen, Bob Mobley and Hiram Burns.
