OBITUARY OF ETTIS EFFONIA BURNS

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Services will be held Friday, January 08 for Ettis Effonia Johansen BURNS, 76, who died Monday, January 04, 1982 in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.

Services will be in the Mount Pleasant LDS Third Ward Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

She was born on December 04, 1905 in Mount Pleasant. A daughter of Wilford and Emma Moss JOHANSEN. She married Jean Dick BURNS on December 29, 1922 in Provo. She was an active member of the LDS Church, manager of Post Exchange, Hamilton Field Air Base in California, active in women's organizations and community activites.

She was chairman of the Heart Fund Drive.

She is survived by her husband, Mount Pleasant; daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Bonnie) JONES; San Rafael, California; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, four sisters, Dean JOHANSEN, Mount Pleasant; Phil JOHANSEN, Kamas; Mrs. Martin (Mable) PRAMME, San Ramone, California; Mrs. Opal VICKERS, Clearfield; Mrs. Don (Donna) McSHANE, Houston, Texas; and Mrs. Max (Shirley) DRAPER, Moroni.

Friends may call at Ursenbach Funeral Home Friday two hours prior to Services.

Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.
