Ethel L. Smith, age 94, of Bethany died on April 17, 2006. She was born March 10, 1912 in Agnos, Arkansas, the eldest of 8 children born to Edgar and Sara Barnes.
Ethel was a member of Bethany Church of Christ for 55 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto; parents; 3 brothers, Boyce, Hubert, and Carl Barnes; and 2 sisters, Edith Williams and Opal Mooney.
She is survived by her son, Lee Roy Smith and wife, Sue of Midwest City; one grandson, Steve Smith and wife Kelly; one great-grandson, Wyatt Smith of OKC; sister, Marie Warner of Del City; brother, Darrell Barnes of Bethany; numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends; and our Missions Hospice friends.
Services are 2:30 p.m, Thurs., April 20th, at Bethany Church of Christ with burial at Bethany Cemetery.
