Ellen's father was Benjamin Franklin Baker, b. 1870 and her mother was Mary Matilda Ragsdale, 1873 - 1947.
Ellen Married Jeff Grover and Mary Daisy and Mary Malinda were born. Ellen wanted to leave Jeff because he was cruel to Mary Daisy and the KKK intervened and told Jeff that he was to allow Ellen to catch a train and leave. (Hard to believe, huh? Ellen had NO prior connection to the KKK.)
Geo. Henry King came West from Mississippi to try and recover from TB. He met and married Ellen and they had Viola Betty King and Henry Lee King before G. H. died of TB.
Years later Ellen married Truman Bond. Truman was killed in a mining accident near Cooks Peak, NM, in 1949.
