Mrs. Stage Dies At Nursing Home
ELWOOD -- Mrs. Maude Scott Stage, 1505 North E St., died at 7:30 this morning at the Demaroe Nursing Home.
Born June 25, 1879, in Westfield, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Ruby, she married William Scott, and later William Stage, both now deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Maddock, Elwood; three sons, Ralph, Claude and Jacob, all of Elwood; a step-son, Charles Stage, Elwood; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a brother, Claude Ruby, Homeward, Ohio.
The body was taken to the Robert L. Jackley Funeral Home, where friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday and where services will be held Monday. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.
