Jacob W. Scott, 97, 2033 N. B St, diad Tuesday at Parkview Progressive Care Center after brief illness.

Born June 30, 1899 in Cicero, he was the son of William F. and Maude Ruby Scott.

He married Mary A. Weeks Feb. 3. 1918. She died Sept 7, 1994.

He was formerly employed at G.L. Sellers and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Loser of Elwood and Wilma Titus of Hudson, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a grandson; a sister, Sylvia Maddock; and two brothers, Ralph Scott and Claude Scott.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elwood City Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Stinnett officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of North Central Indiana. The Copher & Fesler Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
