Services for Steve W. Workman, 72, of 1939 College St. will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Notiger Funeral with the Rev. Richard Elefson officiating.

Masonic services will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.

Mr. Workman died Wednesday morning at Schoitz Hospital.

He was born April 4, 1895 in Linn County, son of J. Frank and Gertrude (Cherry) Workman. He married Mae Hursh May 16, 1920 in Cedar Falls. He was a retired barber and a veteran of World War I. He was a mason.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. (Luella) Hovden, 2211 Washington St.; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Neighbor of Alburnett and Mrs. Irma Bush of Glendale, Calif.; two brothers, Harry of Long Beach, Calif.; and Lawrence of Inglewood, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
