CEDAR FALLS, Services for Mae H. Workman, 92, of 7517 University Ave., will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Workman died Sunday (March 5) at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, after a brief Illness.

She was born Dec. 11, 1896 in rural Cedar Falls, daughter of the Rev. A.E. Hursh and Carrie E. Cook Hursh. She married Steve W. Workman on May 16, 1920, in Janesville. He died in 1968. She had been employed at First National Bank, Cedar Falls. She was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter Luella Lawson of Cedar Falls and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, a twin, Eva Jones and Ruth Rock and three brothers, Paul, Ward, and John Hursh.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.; visitation also will be for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the dining room fund at the Lutheran Home.
