THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., Feb. 25, 1983. 'Ralph Landers, Rt. 1, Powderly, died Thursday, Feb. 24, at his home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. in the Bounds Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. He was born Aug. 24, 1904, the son of Willie and Minnie Burton Landers. He married Elsie Banks May 9, 1925. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Lavon Landers of Paris, Jackie Landers of Ennis and Ralph Landers Jr. of Bay City; a brother, Raymond Landers of Paris; three sisters, Maudie Boley of Paris, Marie Landers of CA and Francis Roberts of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Ray Mantooth, Troy Mantooth, James Mantooth, Donnie Mac Mantooth and Coy Patterson.'
