Mrs. Orpha P. Pearson Campbell,73, died in Milner Community Health Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Campbell had been a saleslady for five years at Five Points Bargain Center for five years before retiring. She formerly was a seamstess at Crown Laundry. Born in Carroll County, she was reared there, but spent most of her adult life in Lafayette. On July 23, 1929, she married in Lafayette to Fay E. Campbell. He died Oct.8, 1971. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. John (Helen) Lowery of Delphi, Mrs. Garland (Fern) Metzger of Rossville, Mrs. Ruby Brugh of Lafayette, and Miss Eva Pearson of Delphi; and one brother, Emmett Pearson, also of Delphi.
