ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Doris A. Ambrose, 72, of 3026 Pinellas Point Drive South, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at her home.
Born Oct. 9, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Edward Earl Barrow and Ruth Eva Forrest Barrow Martin.
She was employed as an operator by G.T.E. Telephone Co. in St. Petersburg; and formerly by C&P Telephone Co. in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Hagerstown.
She is survived by a daughter, Tina Ambrose Rawley of Florida; a sister, S. Jayne Goodwin of Savannah, Ga.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn M. Gregg and N. LaRue Marks.
