Myron A. Price passed at the age of 72 years and 7 months.
Myron was born in Thayer, NE on March 4, 1892 to John R. Price and his wife, Dellah Holstead Price. Thayer was his home until 1914.
Myron was a Boy Scout leader and, in the fall of 1914, went to Wyoming and filed on a homestead.
Myron sang on the Gospel team for the Methodist Church of Upton, WY.
In 1918 Myron was called into service, served one year overseas in France and was in three battles while there. Myron was discharged in April of 1919.
Myron married Ina F. Norris on May 14, 1919. To this union seven children were born. Myra Marie passed away 11 days after birth, Ella A. Burkholder of Salina, KS, John A. Price of Sandoval, NM, Glenn Owen Price, who died at the age of 11, Lillie Mabel Norman of Salina, KS, James E. Price of Woodbridge, VA and Melven Ray Price of Iola, KS.
Myron moved to Missouri in 1934. From there to Kansas is 1939 and to Albuquerque, NM in 1954.
Myron became custodian of the Trinity Methodist Church. At the end of four years, he had a heart attack and had to retire.
Myron is survived by his wife, Ina and five living children and 17 grandchildren, two brothers, Roland B. Price of Central City, IA and Kenneth Price of Powell, WY and three sisters, Mildred Kratzer of Lincoln, NE, Doris Paschke of Aurora, NE and Eleanor Winfield of Sacramento, CA.
Myron was a member of American Legion and a Mason.
There was a military funeral and burial was at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
His flag was given to Paradise Hills Methodist Church as a memorial of which he was a member.
