Ella Adalla Chancy, 86, of Salina, Kansas, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008.

She was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Upton, Wyoming, to Myron A. and Ina F. (Norris) Price.

Her first husband, Arthur Burkholder, died in 1967. Her second husband, Pearl Chancy, died in 1981.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Carl A. Burkholder of Culver, KS, and James R. Burkholder, Salina, KS; another brother, James Price, Salina,KS; a sister, Lillie Norman, Salina, KS; 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, John and Glen Price; a sister, Myra Price; and a stepson, Richard Burkholder.

Funeral services will be Sept. 5, 2008, at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina, Kansas, with burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to Grand Avenue Church, Sunrise Presbyterian Church, or Windsor Estates Nursing Home may be sent to Roselawn Mortuary, 1807 S. Santa Fe, Salina, KS, 67401.
