Beatrice May Moore was born March 9, 1912 in Murphysboro to Rollie and Rosa Braun Hobbs. Her siblings include Ruhama Reeder, Ethel Cummins, and Lawrence Hobbs, all of Murphysboro; Gilliam Hobbs of Gorham, and Wilma Brewer of Vergennes. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She married Lloyd F. Moore on April 8, 1934 in Murphysboro. He preceded her in death December 18, 1977. Survivors include children, Barbara Gill of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lloyd Norman Moore of Joliet; Donald Moore of Murphysboro; and Glendell Moore of Murphysboro. One son and one daughter preceded her in death.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Murphysboro. She was a member of St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary and the Murphysboro Senior Citizens.
She died at the age of 74 in her Murphysboro home.
