She was born January 28, 1940, in Burnt Cabins, a daughter of the late Ira Kelly and Lola Grace Cornelius Waters. She was the wife of Harold R. Ray, McConnellsburg.
She was formerly employed by Sagner Clothing Co., McConnellsburg, as a presser. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in McConnellsburg, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Harold R. Ray, McConnellsburg; three daughters: Mrs. Kris Ray Baker, Powell, Tenn.; Betsy Ray and Peggy Ray, both of McConnellsburg; two sisters: Sarah Stratton, Chambersburg, and Margaret Newman, Hustontown; a grandchild, Joseph Stanley Baker, Powell, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Waters.
Funeral services were held at the family's convenience. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, was in charge of arrangements.
