Caroline Strong was born 30 Jul 1888 in London, Pope Co. AR to Zenith E. Strong and Sarah Elizabeth Price Brown Strong. Caroline's mother died in 1890, soon after giving birth to Caroline's brother, Christopher Columbus Strong. The two young children were raised by Price relatives. Caroline married Joseph Denton "J.D." Edwards 30 Aug 1908 in Altus AR. They had three children: James Commodore, Harold, and Louise. Caroline's second marriage was to James Omer Bell on 28 Apr 1917 in London AR and they had six children in Erick OK: Jimmie Wayne (daughter), Evelyn, Jack, Joe, Wendell, and Dora. Caroline's life-long dream was to travel to Hawaii. She joined her husband James in Honolulu in early 1946 and the couple lived there for nearly 3 years. When they moved back to the mainland, they lived in Longmont CO and Costa Mesa CA where they retired.
