CECILE PEGGY BENJAMIN of Willseysville, N.Y. Cecile Peggy Benjamin, 89, formerly of Bush Rd., Willseysville, N.Y., died at the Tioga Nursing Facility, Waverly, N.Y., on Friday, September 21, 2001. Peggy was born May 18, 1913, in Endicott, to John and Edna Cornell Kimball. She had worked at the Ithaca Gun Company. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Charles; and her sons, Norman, Leon and Donald Benjamin; and her daughter, Marion Leonard. She is survived by her children, Charles and Frances Benjamin, Beverly Krauss, Dorothy and Gary Stroud, and Linda Barkdoll; brother, Sheldon and Thelma Kimball; and two sisters, Mabel Howard and Helen Grier; daughters-in-law, Donna Decker, Maria Hawkins, Joyce Diles; and her son-in-law, George Leonard. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Candor Funeral Parlour, Inc., 137 Main St., Candor, N.Y., on Tuesday, September 25, 2001, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. A graveside service will immediately follow at the Smith Valley Cemetery, Willseysville, N.Y., with Rev. Philip Jordan officiating. Published in Press & Sun-Bulletin on Sep. 23, 2001.
