Mrs. Libbie G. Bond, 88, of Lenhartsville, formerly of Kempton R.1, died Monday in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. She was the widow of Paul W. Bond. Born in Albany Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Braucher) Hamm.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of New Bethel Union Church, Kempton R.2. Surviving are four daughters, Evelyn M., wife of Clarence W. Kunkel of Kempton R.2, Mrs. Marion E. Lesher, with whom she resided, Roma A., wife of Paul E. Bauscher of Lenhartsville R.1, and Erma M., wife of Irwin A. Merkel of Lenhartsville; two sons, Norman P. of Kempton R.1 and Stanley C. of Kempton R.2; a brother, George D. of Kempton R.2; a sister, Mrs. Elsie George of New Tripoli R.1; a stepbrother, Abner H. Hamm of Womelsdorf, Berks County; a stepsister, Esther Koenig of New Tripoli R.3; 15 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren.
