Faye M. Axtell, 81, of Hannibal, passed away Sat.
Born in Fulton, she was a longtime resident of the Hannibal area. A devoted homemaker, Faye enjoyed cooking, camping, being outdoors and the time she spent with her family. She was a member of the Martville United Methodist Church and Oswego Elks Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton "Sam" Axtell; her children, Bonnie Lewis and Keith C. Axtell; grandson, Keith S. Axtell; and brothers, Edgar, George and William Beshures.
Faye will be greatly missed by her children, David of TX, George (Dale) of Hannibal and Sam (Heather) of Fulton; a sister, Helen Colasanti of KY, 12 grandchildren; 12 g-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 11 am Thurs at Fulton First United Methodist Church, 1408 St. Rte. 176, Fulton. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Wed at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Contributions may be made to Meadowbrook Manor, 31 Oswego St., Hannibal, NY 13074.
