She worked as a substitute teaching assistant at Hannibal Central School, and was a Mary Kay consultant. Bonnie was an active member in the Hannibal Center United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and doing the Lords work.
She was predeceased by her father, Carlton Axtell, a brother, Keith and a granddaughter, Angel Rose Lewis.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Lewis; her three sons, Daniel of Montgomery, TX, Robert of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeremy (Samantha) of Fulton; her mother, Faye Axtell; three brothers, George (Dale), Dave and Sam (Heather) Axtell, sister-in-law, Rita Baack; three grandsons and several nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be 10 am Thurs, Sep 17 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Wed at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
