Train Accident
A train from Port Tampa was
coming past the Tampa Bay Laundry
Monday, occurred the saddest accident
that ever befell the happy home of Mr.
W. P. Yancy. His 18 month old baby
had strayed off from protective arms
and unnoticed was playing on the track
before the moving train. The engineer
looking back on a signal did not see the
child till it was too late and the engine
passed over it severing its head from
its body. The bereaved family have the
heartfelt sympathy of the entire city.
