My name is Mary Joy Wylie Jopes, daughter of Davis G. and Stella Gully Wylie. My brother is Jack Gully Wylie. My husband is Terrell Emerson Jopes, son of Guy E. and Legon Megehee Jopes. He has one sister, Sylvia Jopes Sanders. Most all of my relatives are from Kemper, Winston and Choctaw Counties in Mississippi while Terrell is kin to many Pearl River County, MS, families.
We have five children between us: Samuel Cole Jopes, Lisa Jopes Subat, Paul Wylie Cooper, Anna Cooper Cash and Amy Cooper Frierson. Also ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
