His Father, Henry II, (burial site unknown) as a child survived the Indian attack in 1779 called "The Henry massacre" in which his (FH II's) mother and 3 of his siblings were murdered at the home. Infant sister Margaret Elizabeth Henry was murdered along the way after capture because she was crying. 2 other children were captured and rescued. From various accounts Fred Henry II got away from the cabin and sought help. His father and others caught up to the Indians and after rescuing the surviving children asked the surviving 9 year old daughter (Anna Margaret Henry 1771-1849) which one killed the baby, tied him to a tree and had her shoot him.
