Barbara Bemis, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 30, 2012. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Ottis and Rose Winters.
She is survived by her sisters, Goldie Hockenberry, Sue Vance and Marie Mink; children, Rick (Mona) Bemis, Wanda (Rocky) Chadwick, Ron (Dana) Bemis and Norma (Chris) Estelle; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chelcia Bemis, and two brothers, Butch and Wayne Winters.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann East Street Funeral Home, 1505 South East Street Indianapolis, IN.
Funeral Service will be conducted Friday at 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery.
