He was a native of Lee County, a retired minister, and a member of the Church of God in Clay City.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mertie Bell Shuler; three sons, Roy Shuler, Estill County; Elmer Shuler, Clark County, and Jim Shuler, Clay City; five daughters, Mrs. Clara Abney of Ohio; Mrs. Ollie Branham and Mrs. Ella Spencer, both of Winchester; Mrs. Ivory Crowe and Mrs. Flossie Gross, both of Clay City, and a sister, Mrs. Emmie Gross, Richmond.
Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Wednesday at the Wells Funeral Home in Clay City by the Rev. Phillippe and the Rev. Hutchinson. Burial will be in the Cobb Hill Cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home where friends may call.
