Julia passed before her husband in 1872 in Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa at the age of 66. She was buried with her son William Wesley in the old Perlee Cemetery 1539 Olive in Fairfield Jefferson County, Iowa that has sense been plowed under by a farmer that bought the land.
