BROWNSVILLE — Services for Mrs. Ethel Marbury Newman, 82, widow of Daniel L. Newman, were today at the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. E.T. Echols officiating. Burial was in Haywood County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Newman died at 10:25 a.m. Thursday at Haywood Park General Hospital in Brownsville.
She leaves one son, L.D. Newman of Olathe, Kan.; four daughters, Mrs. Effie Abel, Mrs. Thelma Taylor, and Mrs. Lola Foster, all of Brownsville; Mrs. Mary Sullivan, Bay St. Louis, Miss.; seven brothers, Elmer Marbury, Leonard Marbury, Willie Marbury, Ellis Marbury, Virgle Marbury, David Marbury and W.C. Marbury, all of Covington; and 15 grandchildren.
