Silas L. Miller, brother of Frank Miller, died at the home of Mrs. Charles Conley, Goldsboro, on Monday April 23, 1951. Death was due to a complication of diseases and came at the age of 79-2-16. Mr. Miller was married twice, his first wife died July 27, 1928 and was buried in Friedensaal's Cemetery; his second wife died March 26, 1945 and was buried in Paddletown Cemetery.
Mr. Miller is survived by three step childrn: Mrs. Hiram Lauer, York Haven; Mrs. William Ogle, York RD5; and Mervin Burger, York RD5; a sister Mrs. Amanda Bailey, Red Lion and a brother Frank Miller, Glen Rock RD2.
Funeral services were held from Goodling Funeral Home, Seven Valleys on Thursday afternoon, April 26th.
He was buried in Friedensaal's Cemetery.
