Born March 12, 1918, in West Point, she was the daughter of Frank and Bessie Howdeyshell Broadfield. On April 18, 1938, she married Joseph H. Otte in Jefferson City, Mo. He died Jan. 1, 2001.
Mrs. Otte worked for the Denmark School in the cafeteria and drove a bus for the Fort Madison School District. She was a member of West Point Presbyterian Church. She was known for her great cooking.
Survivors include one son, Larry Otte of Canon City, Colo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, one grandchild, her parents, one brother and one sister.
