MARRIED. In Jackson, Tioga Co., Pa., on Thursday the 12th inst., by the Rev. S. R. Jones, Mr. William S. Johnston, to Miss Mary Ann Dalrymple, both of the above place (Elmira Gazette, Elmira, New York, Saturday, April 14, 1838).

Originally, buried in the Baptist Cemetery (also known as Main Street Cemetery and Wisner Cemetery) in Elmira, the transcription of her memorial appeared in the Elmira Daily Advertiser, October 20, 1875, in preparation for the removal of bodies from the cemetery to close the cemetery and create a park.

The transcription in 1875 recorded her age in months as 4, but the memorial is inscribed as 5 months.
