ALVERTON, Jan 6, Patrick Henry Bennett of Old Bethany, one of the oldest and highly respected citizens of that place, died January 4, death being due to a complication of disease. Mr. Bennett was born in Ireland December 25, 1844. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Margaret Bennett, and the following children: Mrs. Sadie Crise, Middletown; Mrs. Molly Cree, Alverton; Mrs. D.W.Fagan, Connellsville; Mrs. Nell Vance, Old Bethany; William Bennett, Greensboro; Mrs. Catherine Neighly, Los Angeles, Calif, John Bennett, at home, also 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of God of Alverton for 27 years.
The funeral service will be Sunday at 2 o'clock at Tarr. Rev. Anna Edwards will officiate.
