Michael O'Neil Dead
A telegram received Tuesday morning from Butte, Mont., announced the death of Michael O'Neal. Mr. O'Neal is a brother of Mrs. Dan Hannon and Mrs. Dennis Cushing of this city. The telegram was addressed to Edward O'Neil of Omaha, a brother of the dead man, and it gave no cause for the death. It is supposed, however, that he met with some accident, since his wife received a letter from him stating that he was in the best of health a few minutes before the wire arrived. Edward O'Neil left last evening for Butte.

Funeral of Michael O'Neill
Michael O'Neill's body arrived from Butte, Montana, Saturday afternoon. He died in Montana from an accidental fall from his horse. He had been working in the grading camps where he and his brother have large railroad contracts. He went into town and mailed a letter to his wife telling of his good health. After mailing the letter he started to mount his horse, but fell in so doing, landing on his back. He was asked by bystanders if he was hurt and said, "No." He mounted the horse and rode two miles, when he became so ill that he dismounted. He died within a few minutes. Internal hemorrhage was the cause assigned.
He was well known in South Omaha. His sister is Mrs. Dan Hannon. The funeral will be held from his brother's residence, 320 North Thirty-Sixth street, Omaha, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The cortege will go from the residence to St. Cecelia's church. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
