George D. Zeigler, 67, Waynesboro, died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Hospital. He had been in ill health for the past two years.
Mr. Zeigler has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Fred Dowlin, 247 Highland Avenue, Waynesboro.
Born here he was a son of the late Rufus and Amanda (Patterson) Zeigler. He worked at Fairchild Siratos, Hagerstown, MD, and made his home with his brother, Michael, Hagerstown. He served in World War 1 and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred Dowlin, Waynesboro, and Mrs. James Powell, Marysville, Ca.; 12 grandchildren; two brothers John, Security, Md, and Michael, Hagerstown, and three sisters Mrs. Daniel Calimer Waynesboro, Rt. 4; Mrs. Frank Shirk, Indian Springs, Md, and Mrs. Ann Carrey, Westminster, Md.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grove Funeral Home here, the Rev. James H. Pearson officiating. The burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery.
