Mrs Annie C Carey. 78, Baltimore, died at 12 30 p m Friday at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore She had been in failing health for three weeks after falling and fracturing a bone in her leg
She was a daughter of the late Rufus and Amanda Ziegler. Her husband. Calvin Carey, died In 1965 She had lived in Fairfield for a number years before moving to Baltimore
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Robert Slick. Littlestown Pike. Westminster; Mrs Ethel Parker, Baltimore; six sons, Ernest Patterson. Baltimore; James Patterson. Hagerstown; Harold Patterson. Munde, Indiana. Robert Patterson, Hagerstown; Calvin Carey Jr, Sykesville Md; Leo Carey. Muncie, Indiana, three step-daughters, Mrs Robert Jaegeis, Marriotsville. Md ; Mrs. William Heflin. Gettysburg; Mrs. Raymond Wike, Westminster; , two step-sons, Chester A Carey, Gardners R 2, Eugene Carey, Sherman, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Calmer, Waynesboro, one brother Michael ZeigIer, Security, Md ; 28 grand-children, 23 great grandchildren. and one great-great-grandchild
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday at the Dugao Funeral Home, Bendersville. Rev Roland Ries will officiate. '
Burial will be in the Bendersville Cemetery
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening from 7 to 9 pm
