Stutts, 85, of Genesis
Healthcare of Moooresville
passed away on the
14th day of December
2009.
"Bea" was the sixth
child born to the William
Sherrill and Vessie
Little Sherrill of Mooresville.
She was married to
the late Kenneth Stutts
in 1942.
Surviving is her son,
Kenny (Holtshouser)
Stutts and wife, Patti
Stutts of Saugus, Calif.;
two grandsons, Chris
Stutts and wife, Debbie,
and Tim Stutts, also of
Saugus, Calif.; greatgranddaughters,
Samantha
and Olivia; one sister,
Betty Jean McKee of
Cornelius; nieces and
nephews, including Ronnie
and Linda Freeze
and Patsy Freeze of
Mooresville.
She was a graduate of
Troutman High School.
As a young girl, Bea studied
music for nine and
one-half years. She distinguished
herself as a
talented musician and
was honored to have
been encouraged to apply
for a scholarship to
the Julliard Conservatory
of Music. She and
her family attended Fairview
Methodist Church.
She played for congregational
singing in many
Mooresville area churches.
In later life, she
found great joy in
playing for her neighbors
at Genesis.
Genesis HealthCare of
Mooresville has been
home to Miss Bea for
the past 21 years. She
was a very active member
in her Genesis Community.
Bea had a kindness
and sweetness that
endeared her to everyone
who had the pleasure
to know her. She
will be dearly missed.
On Dec. 16, the family
will receive friends from
1-2 p.m. at the Neill
Funeral Home in Mooresville.
Immediately following,
Rev. Paul Childers
will officiate at the
funeral service. Interment
will be held be at
Fairview United Methodist
Church.
