Abigail was the daughter of Aaron Edwards and Elizabeth Hackney.
She may have been a namesake for her mother's cousin Abigail Foushee.
Abigail married Cyrus Silliman in 1839 in Wilson County, TN, and resided in Dist. 19 near their Edwards and Silliman relatives.
Following the 1850 census, they moved to Calhoun County, Arkansas, where many of her their descendants still live today.
