Jennie Elizabeth Buckley the daughter of
Samuel and Clara Buckley was born at
Reserville, Kansas, April 27, 1880 and died
May 8, 1964 at the age of eighty-four years
and eleven days.

On April 18, 1901, she was married to Oliver
Perry Morton and they spent most of their
married life in or near the Reserville vicinity
until they moved to Frankfort in 1955.

To this union were born one son and three
daughters, George Morton, Frankfort, Kansas
Mary Jones, Humboldt and her twin sister,
Maude Alice Morton who died in infancy and
Abbevilla Williams, Waterville, Kansas.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son and
two daughters; one sister Mrs. Sadie Mesmer
Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandsons,
one granddaughter and six great-grandchild-
ren and other relatives and friends.

Her husband Perry Morton preceded her in
death on July 1, 1957.

Until her health failed her, she was active
in the community affairs a member of the
Frankfort Methodist Church and will be
missed by all.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 10,
1964 at 2:30 p.m. at the Frankfort Methodist
Church with Reverend Paul Johnson officiat-
ing.

Pallbearers were six grandson’s Elmer Jones,
Darrell Colhover, Donald Jones, Larry Jones,
Bob Jones, Rex Morton.

Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
