George Leslie Morton, son of Perry and Jennie
Morton was born March 4, 1902 on a farm in
the Reserville community and passed away
on September 15, 1970 at the Community
Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Kansas
where he had been a patient since July 30, at
the age of 68 years, 6 months and 11 days.

On March 12,1924, he was united in marriage
to Dorothy Dodd. They had spent all their
married live around Bigelow and 76 vicinity.
they were blessed with one son, Rex.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife,
Dorothy of the home; a son Rex Morton
Frankfort, Kansas, daughter-in-law, Loeta
and granddaughter, Annette also of
Frankfort, Kansas; two sisters, Mary Jones
Humboldt, Kansas, Abbevilla Williams,
Waterville, Kansas, two brother-in-laws,
Horace Jones and Gwilym Williams; also
nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He joined the Methodist Church in Bigelow
in 1928 and later transferred to the
Methodist Church in Frankfort, Kansas of
which he is now a member of the Odd
Fellows Lodge in Frankfort.

He was very active in farming until his
health failed him.

Funeral services were held Thursday,
September 17, 1970 at 2:30 p.m. at the
Methodist Church in Frankfort.

Lorene Shearer soloist was accompanied
by Mrs. Forgy on the organ.

Pallbearers were Eldon Ewing, Roy Carlson,
Howard Hale, Audran Spunaugle, Otis
Armstrong and C.A. Hawke.

Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas
