Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Douglas was born in Hemingway, a son of Mrs. Irene Baxley Douglas and the late Bright Weldon Douglas. He was retired from Oneita Knitting Mills in Andrews. He was a Baptist, an Army veteran, and a graduate of Hemingway High School.
Survivors include his mother of Hemingway; his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Owens Douglas of Hemingway; four sons, David Len Douglas of Lake City, James Eddie Douglas, Andy Cornell Douglas and Ken David Douglas all of Hemingway; a daughter, Mrs. Tinita Ann Eaddy of Hemingway; three brothers, Winston E. Douglas, Tommy L. Douglas and Harry J. Douglas all of Hemingway; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Richardson of Hemingway, Mrs. Bernice Rollins of Georgetown and Mrs. Mary Powell of Johnsonville, and seven grandchildren.
