Joanna was the youngest child of Isham & Polly Beasley. She married a first cousin, Jesse Beasley, at a young age which so upset her father that she was never in his home again.
A DNA match between a descendant of Victoria (one of the twins born to Joanna Beasley 29 Dec 1842) and a descendant of William Johnson Bomar (Findagrave Memorial 28338036) offers convincing evidence that William Johnson Bomar was the father of Joanna's twin girls.
