Katie Clark Died August 29th
Katie Clark, 93, died Aug. 29, 1984, at Hearthstone Home, St. John, after a long illness. Born Katie Rice June 10, 1891, at Ellinwood, she married Ted Clarke June 10, 1909, in Stafford County. He died Nov. 19, 1960. She had been a longtime St. John resident.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, St. John.
Survivors: son, Walter, Wichita; daughters, Ruby Marker, Wichita; Virginia Wedel, Kingman, Ariz.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was 11 a.m. Saturday at Minnis Chapel, St. John. The Rev. Michael Borcherding officiated. Burial was in Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John.
