Born March 13, 1959 in Peoria to John and Florence (Rhodes) Hilt, she married Robin K. “Rob” Conover on October 10, 1986 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jason (Jamie) Conover and Brad (Kelly) Conover; three grandchildren, LeAnne Darlene Conover, Kathryn Lynn Conover and Brennan Scott Conover; two brothers, John (Judy) Hilt and Gordon (Pat) Mitchell and one sister, Cindy (Bob) Kiefer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Robert Mitchell.
Alesia worked as the senior project coordinator for P.J. Hoerr in Peoria for over 20 years. She loved her family, friends and job. She especially loved her grandkids and was proud of raising her boys with Rob. She enjoyed playing Bunko with her girlfriends and had gotten into scrapbooking. She also liked to do arts and crafts. She was fond of her dachshunds. She had attended First United Methodist Church in Pekin.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 4234 North Knoxville Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614.
