Edgewood -- Funeal services were held Saturday for Samuel Ingles, who died at the home of his son, George, who lives in the vicinity of Edgewood. Services were conducted by Rev. Lannholm of the Congregational Church. Samuel Ingles was born at Uniontown, Pa., Sept. 22, 1837. He came to Iowa about 65 years ago. In 1860 he was married to Miss Mary Bolsinger, who preceded him in death about 31 years ago. To this union was born seven children, three of whom have passed away. Those living and George and Jack Ingles of Edgewood, Mrs. Anna Weichendorf of Buena Vista, and Ella Bolsinger of Turkey River.
Mr. Ingles was a member of Co.F, 145th Penn. regiment and served three years during the Civil War. He dief March 14, after having lived 90 years, 5 months, and 21 days.
